Booking tickets

airBaltic tickets can be bought on the airline's web site, by calling airBaltic and through many travel web sites and travel agents.

In general, you'll get the best price by booking your airBaltic tickets on the airline's web site.

Finding low priced flights on airBaltic

Book your airBaltic tickets on the airline's web site to get the best fares.

You may book and change tickets by calling airBaltic, but will then have to pay a booking fee of € 30.

To get the best price for your checked luggage, make sure you book and pay for the required number of items when you originally book you ticket. Higher prices apply if you later reserve space for luggage at the airBaltic web site or at the airport when checking in.

Rebooking, change of name and cancelling tickets

Date or time of travel can't be changed for the least expensive airBaltic tickets, Basic class tickets. You won't get a refund if you cancel the ticket. You can change the name on the ticket for a fee of € 50. If there is a fare difference between what you originally paid for the ticket and the price at the time of the name change, you will also have to pay that difference.

If you hold an Economy Smart class ticket on airBaltic, you can change the date and time of the flight by paying a fee of € 50 as well as the fare difference between the two tickets. You can change the name on the ticket for a fee of € 50, plus any fare difference.

For Economy Elite ticket holders the date and time of flight can be changed by only paying the fare difference. Changing the name on the ticket is possible free of charge.

airBaltic baggage rules

One item of hand luggage is allowed for airBaltic Basic, Economy Smart and Economy Elite class ticket holders. The size of this item must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm and weigh no more than 8 kg.

For Basic class tickets, no checked luggage is included in the ticket price. However, you can book up to five checked luggage items for € 24.99 each. See below for weight limitations.

For Economy Smart and Economy Elite tickets, one item of checked luggage is included in the ticket fare, and you can book an additional four items for € 24.99 each.

Each luggage item to be checked in must weigh no more than 20 kg. airBaltic will charge € 40 for each overweight luggage item. The size of this fee does not depend on the number of kilos your luggage is above the 20 kg limit.

Checking in for your flight

airBaltic on-line check-in is available until 1 hour before flight departure.

Airport check-in for airBaltic flights costs 10 Euro. Airport check-in deadlines varies between airports.

Self check-in kiosks are available for free check-ins at Riga airport.
